I would like to take this opportunity to welcome you to the Lamar Elementary School website.  Our district's mission statement is to provide an environment where all students are engaged and empowered to become self-reliant learners in a constantly changing world.  This mission statement describes the deeply held traditions in NBISD and our constant focus on excellence in education for all students.  We believe that only through strong collaboration between parents, students and staff can we maintain the high level of success that has been a Lamar tradition for over 93 years.

Lamar also has a strong commitment of parent involvement.  Please consider reaching out to our fabulous PTA for opportunities to get involved, serve and continue the "Lamar"velous legacy.
